“Rather than clothes, I am fascinated to create fluid sculptures.

These handcrafted garments appear simple at first glance, but are extremely refined and delicate sensual forms; moulded from one rectangular piece of fabric and intimate to the body.

My designs are a study of technique and shape. In spite of the complex and architectural ideas involved in their constructions, my work conveys an exacting simplicity and finds a balance between experimental and wearable design. Between dream and reality.

My work is inspired by the organic forms of the nature, which evokes irrevocably sensual shapes and it is based on the construction principles that are also to find in the nature. The shapes are not forced; they are defined rather intuitively than mathematically.

Just like the fluid swirling of the organic nature, the human body is wrapped in clothing. I find beauty in unforced and in impermanent. I find love in imperfect and timeless. A simple yet sensual approach to nature, a poetic philosophy and non-forced aesthetics that are created effortlessly.

I see clothing as a three dimensional objects, yet I find the two dimensional patterns equally interesting. I use natural materials and hand-dye the textiles with organic pigments or natural dyes, which makes for a soft pallet, highlighted by sublime coral shades.”
